A young woman faced a public caning punishment for breaking strict
Sharia law in Banda Aceh province in Indonesia...She was accused of
having sex outside of marriage and was brought to the stage by guards
and forced to kneel down.....From the pictures posted online, the woman
could be seen crying out in agony as she is whipped on her back by a man
with a cane wearing a mask. After the punishment, she was carried away
on a stretcher by several men after collapsing.
