Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Bails Northerners Arrested In Lagos Mile 12 Crisis
Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has waded into the Mile 12 marketers crisis
which occurred few months back in Lagos. About 40 of the outstanding
72 northerners detained by police were released on bail to the senator
on Monday (yesterday).
During his last visit about 2 weeks ago to Mile 12, Lagos, Kwankwaso
paid the bail out money to the tune of N65,000 per person for all the
72 detainees to secure their release.

Condom Found Inside a Woman's Appendix in Cameroon (photos)
According to the person who shared
the photos,a condom was found inside a woman's appendix in Cameroon
during surgery.
He wrote......
'The
unknown 26-year-old visited a hospital in Cameroon with stomach pains
on the right side of her pelvis, leaving her unable to eat and feeling
nauseous. A doctor diagnosed her with appendicitis following scans.
The lady was then rushed to emergency surgery and as they cut into the appendix they discovered the organ had a piece of rubbery material stuck inside it. Once removed they realised the object was ‘consistent with a condom’.
Detailed in the Journal of Medical Case Reports, the woman later confirmed she had swallowed the condom accidentally during oral sex with her boyfriend'.

Footage allegedly shot in Nigeria shows a man being whipped publicly
while being held face down as punishment for adultery. He reportedly
slept with someone else's wife. After four strokes he got up in protest
but a second man grabbed his legs and held him on the bench.
The whipper then continued to strike down on his back until the pain became unbearable and he made another attempt to escape.

equipment and other belongings estimated at $60,000 in Accra, Ghana on
Tuesday May 24th. Clarence was in Ghana to shoot a video and was lodging

Jonathan’s Principal Secretary, Hassan Tukur Granted $40m Bail
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has granted
administrative bail to Hassan Tukur, the principal secretary to former
President Goodluck Jonathan.
Tukur had been in detention for several days for allegedly diverting $40 million he obtained to negotiate the release of more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted by Islamist insurgents belonging to Boko Haram.
Saharareporters quoted a source as saying that Tukur was detained and interrogated on charges that included his reported pocketing of about $35 million out of $40 million budgeted for negotiating the release of Chibok girls.
The source said Tukur was released yesterday, but ordered to report to the EFCC’s headquarters in Abuja whenever he was required to do so.

Photos- Woman Who Killed Her Hubby in Ibadan Arraigned in Court Today, Pleads Not Guilty
Yewande Oyediran, the woman accused of stabbing her
husband, 38 year old Oyediran Ajanaku to death at their Akobo estate
home in Ibadan, Oyo state on February 2nd after a domestic dispute, appeared in court today May 24th.
The defendant's preliminary objection, asking the court to
strike out the case against her, was dismissed in a ruling today and
thereafter she pleaded not guilty to the murder charge. The case was
adjourned and it is reported that judgment would be delivered in July at
the latest.

from parading himself as the Chairman of PDP pending the hearing and

Buhari Appoints Ja’afaru As Comptroller-general Of Prisons
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Ahmed
Ja’afaru to take over from Dr Peter Ekpendu as the new
Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Prisons Service, NPS.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Mr Bassey Akpanyung, and issued on Tuesday.
The new Prison boss was, until his appointment, an Assistant Controller General of Prisons and was serving at the Prisons Headquarters in Abuja.
According to the statement which was made available to newsmen, Ja’afaru replaces Ekpendu who retired from service on May 17, 2016 after his mandatory 35 years in service.
Ja’afaru’s appointment took effect from May 17, 2016, same day that Ekpendu retired from service.
EFCC Declares Senator Iyiola Omisore Wanted For N700m Fraud (Pic)
The EFCC, today, May 24,2016, declared a former deputy governor of Osun
State, Senator Iyiola Omisore wanted. The former senator is wanted in
connection with a case of receiving and misappropriating the sum of over
N700, 000,000.00 from the Office of the National Security Adviser,
between June and November, 2014.
Omisore has been elusive and refused to report to the Commission after invitation was extended to him on April 7, 2016 requesting him “to come and make clarification on the ongoing investigation”.

Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Sani died at the age of 75 at about 4pm Saturday,
