The Afro-pop legend when asked about the incident in an interview with NET, blamed Davido’s friendly attitude for the incident.

M.I Abaga Takes Nas To Court. Files A Lawsuit In New York

M.I Abaga and his record label, Chocolate City, are suing Queenbridge legend Nas, real name Nasir Jones.

M.I and Chocolate City have filed a lawsuit in New York State Supreme Court claiming Nas didn’t deliver the verse they wanted. In the lawsuit, which was filed in the New York State Supreme Court, Nas and Mass Appeal Records’ Ronnie Goodman are accused of duping Chocolate City after they had paid the rapper $50,000 for the verse.

Finally, singer Davido has finally been cleared by the Police of any wrong doing and involvement in Tagbo’s death case.

Davido’s lawyer in an interview revealed that Davido has been allowed to go about his business after meeting with the police.
 

Yesterday evening, ‘IF’ crooner David Adeleke took to his Instagram stories to thank everyone who prayed for him, revealing that he has forgiven every single person, media house or blog that accused him of having a hand in the demise of his late friend, Tagbo Umeike.

The singer further stated that he’s ready to now go back to making music.

A member from Davido’s legal team led by Norrison I. Quakers, SAN revealed that the singer has been released by the Police to go about his business as he’s not guilty.

South African Prison Warder Kills Herself As Love Affair With Inmate Was Exposed

 A prison warder has reportedly taken her life after leaked pictures of her alleged relationship with an inmate surfaced online. The warder who worked at Losperfontein Correctional Centre in South Africa was said to be in a romantic relationship with a prison inmate.

According to media reports, after the pictures emerged online, the employee took her own life. She allegedly killed herself on Monday morning and a suicide case had been opened.

An investigation is reportedly underway to indicate the violations and to recommend sanctions to the inmate involved.

This is the moment a New York man was caught on camera hailing a taxi to leave the scene of a car crash while his trapped female friend burned to death nearby.

The footage shows Saeed Ahmed asking a taxi driver in the middle of a highway if he can get a ride just moments after crashing his car on in Brooklyn on Friday night.

The video, which was shot by a witness and obtained by ABC7, shows his car engulfed in flames in the background.

His passenger, Harleen Grewel, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene after her charred body was found in the front passenger seat by firefighters at the scene.

Davido's Father, Deji Adeleke Denies Osun 2018 ‘Governorship Ambition’

Business mogul, Deji Adeleke, has debunked rumours that he is nursing an ambition to run for the 2018 Osun governorship on the APC platform.

This is contained in a statement on Monday signed by Dele Adeleke.

It described the speculations as false, unfounded and ludicrous.

“Adeleke is not interested in seeking any political office nor involved in any talks/plot to make him the governorship candidate of APC or any other political party,” the statement read.

“Adeleke is not a politician and has chosen to continue to render his contributions and service to humanity in his private capacity and through his foundation.

“We hereby appeal to the good people of Osun state and all Nigerians to disregard the mischievous publication in its entirety.”

The Ekiti State Governorship election will hold on July 14, 2018, while Osun State Governorship election will hold September 22, 2018, INEC recently disclosed.

Commencement date of Campaigns for Ekiti Governorship election is April 15, 2018, and that of Osun State is June 24, 2018.

Even as Emeka Ike’s marriage to his ex wife, Suzanne, was dissolved by the court not too long ago, Emeka said it was a “Kangaroo judgment”, as he didn’t sign any document and neither he nor his lawyer was in court.

One night too sad

The past few days have been rather tumultuous and unsettling for Nigerian hip hop singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido with three of his friends being turned up dead by the police after a night of a birthday drinking binge of one of them, identified as Tagbo Umeike.


The night of October 3, 2017 was Tagbo’s birthday, which his friends, including late DJ Olu, and Chime Amechina and the hip hop star, Davido got together at the Shisha Lounge, Lekki. And it was supposed to be a night to remember but instead has turned out to be a nightmare never to be forgotten, as the trio of Tagbo Umeike, DJ Olu and Chime Amechina have ceased to be.


The first death to attract public attention was that of Tagbo. The news of his death was broken by his actress girlfriend, Caroline Danjuma who reportedly said that Davido had some explanations to make about his death but noting that she was not accusing him of complicity. “I have not said that Davido was responsible for his death but since Tagbo was with him before he died Davido must have something to say about it,” she said.

While the social media was feasting on the news of Tagbo’s death with series of claims and counter claims, other two friends of Davido who were at the birthday binge were turned up dead by the police.

Davido Cancels Zimbabwe Show Over Tagbo Controversy

Nigerian Music star, David Adeleke popularly known as "Davido" has cancelled a show in Zimbabwe meant to have held on Friday night after Nigerian police reinvited him to explain what he knows of his friend, Tagbo Umeike's death. The police are also interested in getting information from Davido on a separate incidence where 2 of his friends Olugbemiga Abiodun a.k.a. DJ Olu and Chime Amechina were found dead in a car at Ocean Parade, Banana Island, Ikoyi.

All of this meant that Davido could not be in Zimbabwe as scheduled for the launch of Jah Prayzah's Kutonga Kwaro album launch at Harare International Conference Center. Spokesman for the event organizers Dee Nosh claimed that Davido's team had given them assurances that he would attend, telling Zimbabwean media:

“When we learnt that Davido was picked for questioning by the police we continuously got in touch with his camp and we were being told everything was under control that even part of his advance team had already left Lagos,” Dee Nosh said.

Lagos Police PRO reacts to reports that the state acting police commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, has been demoted

A report by Sahara Reporters claims that the acting commissioner of police in Lagos state, Imohimi Edgal, has been demoted. The Police Service Commission in a letter dated October 8, 2017, and titled: Withdrawal of Acting Appointment", allegedly reversed the positions of Lagos acting commissioner of police and that of Kogi state,  Aji Ali Janga to Deputy Commissioners of Police.

 According to Famous-Cole, the state command still has Imohimi as its commissioner and that if he is to be removed from office, it would be made official.

"Lagos state police commissioner still has the Commissioner of police as the acting CP, Imohimi Edgal. When the CP became the acting Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, it was official. If there is going to be any change, it would be official" he said

Police Service Commission Reverts Rank Of New Lagos CP Who Spoke On Davido’s Case

The Police Service Commission (PSC), has reversed the acting Commissioners of Police in Lagos and Kogi state to their old ranks, Nigeria’s New Telegraph can report.

According to the letter dated October 8, 2017, and titled: Withdrawal of Acting Appointment: AP:25095 Mohimi D. Edgal And AP. 36665 Aji Ali Janga, the Commission, at its 24th Plenary Meeting of 27th and 28th September, 2017 took a decision not to ratify the anticipatory approval.

Edgal Imohimi is the Acting Commissioner of Police in Lagos state, while Ali Janga is the Kogi state Acting Commissioner of Police.

The commission said; “The Officers are, therefore, reverted to their substantive rank of Deputy Commisioner of Police (DCP).

“Please, accept the assurances of the Commission’s high esteem”, the letter read.

According to several sources, the service was very emotional as speaker after speaker poured eulogies on the late DJ Olu who was found dead alongside a friend (Chime Okafor) on Saturday, October 7, 2017. One of the friends of the deceased named Tobi even performed a very touching song to the admiration of the mourners gathered. Another friend, Seni Saraki, son of Senate President Bukola Saraki, spoke about how the late DJ Olu was like the elder brother he never had and would really miss him.

Davido Prays On Instagram As Fans Show Him Support

It is no news that Nigerian Singer, Davido is going through some troubled times with the loss of his friends, Tagbo, DJ Olu and Chime who all died died controversially.

The loss of Tagbo has seen him re-invited by the Police for questioning after they found out that he lied in his statement where he said he only knew of the death of Tagbo after he left them at Shisha Bar for DNA Night Club.

CCTV camera showed that 2 of his accomplices dropped Tagbo's body at the hospital and the police are reporting that it was on Davido's orders.

Well, with this invitation and the controversy going on, the Singer took to Instagram to pray to God as his fans showed him support with their prayers.
