24 Year Old Lady Living With HIV Tells Her Story (Photos)

 24-year-old Doreen Moraa is HIV positive and has been living with it since she was born .In an interview with E Daily,the motivational speaker,disclosed how she learnt of her status while still in primary school.

Well, the third born in a family of five was born of a HIV discordant couple - her mum is positive, while the dad is negative.

When I was aged 12 and a pupil in Standard Seven. During one of my many hospital visits, I overheard my mum talking with my doctor. All along, I was visiting the hospital, but I did not know what exactly was wrong with me.

A former Napoli youth player has been shot dead in a daylight ambush. Renato Di Giovanni, who once featured on the bench for Napoli against Arsenal in the UEFA Youth League, was reportedly targeted in an attack on the outskirts of Naples.

Initial reports from Italy claim that Di Giovanni, 21, was located in front of the Santa Maria di Montevergine church in the Soccavo district when the attack took place.

PH Based Gospel Artiste, Will Adiks Buried

Port Harcourt-based gospel artist, Godswill Adiks Adikibiayeofori, popularly known as Will Adiks, who was assassinated by unidentified gunmen on Wednesday night, December 21st is right now being buried in his hometown, Bolo in Ogo LGA, Okrika, Rivers state.

The gospel minister had been ambushed by gunmen at the Rivers State Axis of the East-West Road while returning back from a programme in Benin, Edo State.

He was rushed to the University Of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Choba, where he was in coma for hours. On the evening of Thursday, December 22nd, he passed away.

Before his death, Will Adiks was his parents' first son, out of 6 children. He was 33 years old. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Ondo State House Of Assembly Suspends Speaker And Her Deputy

 The Leadership of the Ondo State House of Assembly has been suspended and an acting Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Majority Leader have been elected. Malachi Coker is now the Acting Speaker, Ayodele Arowele is Deputy Speaker while Olamide George is the Majority Leader.

The suspension followed an allegation by the House Paymaster who was caught by members of the assembly with a sum of 15 million naira at the premises of the assembly complex.

When confronted, the Paymaster said that he was acting on the instruction of the suspended Speaker, Jumoke Akindele who ordered him to bring the money to her residence.

The House which eventually sat on Friday evening moved that the leadership under Jumoke Akindele had failed.

They agreed on her removal stating that they were not aware of the approval of the said sum of money by the House.

And he's currently being held on counts relating to breach of contract, fraud among other issues at an undisclosed location.

 A video clip of abuse involving a young girl has been making the rounds on various social media platforms, including Facebook and Whats App. The video which is too gruesome to post here -has sparked debate on whether it is right for citizens to take justice in their own hands and sort out criminals in this humiliating manner.

In the video, the young girl reportedly aged between 15 and 20 was caught stealing from a home. The aggrieved owners of the home rolled her in mud and poured engine oil all over her body before setting her free in bid to humiliate her.

However the action has sparked mixed feelings with some condemning the act and calling it inhumane.

Bomb Discovered On A Church Altar In Benin - Facebook User (Photos)

A Pastor at Christ's Chosen Church Of God Int'l in Benin, John Odemwingie Omorogbe, has claimed that this "explosive device" was found planted on the church's altar last Sunday -with thousands of members seated. According to the pastor, security operatives on ground made discovered the bomb and detonated it alongside with another one found in the car park.

Angry husband, Francis Kimani has burned his wife with boiling soup and kerosene after he saw a text message from another man on her phone.

A woman, Pauline Mugure is nursing serious injuries after her husband allegedly burned her with a kerosene stove and boiling soup.

The woman who got serious burns from the incident that happened in September 2016 says she cannot get further treatment because doctors are on strike.

She further said she could not afford private hospital fees.

BRT to Introduces New Transport Fares

Plans have been announced of the increment of fares on all routes of the Lagos State Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) scheme, an operator with Primero Transport Services said.

The company’s Managing Director, Mr Fola Tinubu, made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ikorodu on Thursday.

Tinubu said that the increase, which will take effect from February was as result of its increasing operational cost.

The company has maintained a fare of N75, N120, and N195 from Ikorodu to Mile 12, Fadeyi, and CMS, respectively, since it started operations in November 2015.

The eight students and two staff of the Nigeria Turkish International School, Isheri, Ogun State, who were abducted on January 13, 2017, have regained their freedom . They were released about 7.30pm on Tuesday, 24 January 2017 after ransom was paid. Available information had it that parents parted with between N4million about N10 million each to secure the release of the students and staff.

The Police high command yesterday morning had assured apprehensive parents and relatives of the victims, that their wards would be released in 24 hours.

Fayose Personally Drives Apostle Suleman To His Hotel Room After DSS Saga. Pics

 After the foiled attempt by the DSS on Tuesday night to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleman in Ekiti state, Governor Ayo Fayose led the pastor into his Hiace bus where he personally drove the Apostle to his hotel room after his church programme yesterday night. This was reportedly done to prevent the security operatives from making another attempt.

Governor,Fayose, in the early morning on Wednesday, foiled an attempt by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) to arrest Apostle Johnson Suleman of The Omega Fire Ministries World wide in Ado Ekiti.

The Pastor recently ordered his church members to kill any Fulani herdsman they see in a bid to defend themselves.
The Pastor who was in Ado Ekiti for a two-day crusade that was also attended by Fayose was trailed to his hotel room by the operatives of the DSS, who almost forced their way to his room but were resisted by security men of the hotel that insisted to know their mission.
