MUST READ- War Of Words On Twitter (LINDA IKEJI vs HASSAN SAADU)
I just saw this and i really need to share this tweets. I must admit these are heavy words used angry people. I pray that God will give them the grace to burry the hatchet. Both parties should just let the issue rest.
She did NOT apologise. Imagine losing NINE members of your family and an ignorant person like Ms Ikeji exposing the family to the taunts of her followers. There were 700+ horrible comments about this grieving family before she finally deleted the post. For the record,in the Islamic context you do not postpone a marriage (Nikkah) for a death in the family. The Mijindadi family cut short the 3 day programme to just 2 hours. There was no dancing or singing.
If he 1td 2 insult som1,he should av focused on her in4mant cos d person obviously left out d detail about it b'in a nikkah n d requirements 4 it. N about d laws governin d nikkah,Y make laws that are repugnant? No human should be subjected 2 that kind of law,its insensitive. Y shd som1 mourning d loss of 9 family members be bound by law 2 go on with d marriage? N about d red teary eyes....... I didn't c that in d pix posted. What I saw was a very happy man. D smiles were 4m within.
Mr Tope,I respect n like ur blog cos u stay outta contrversial issues bt I think dis particular issue is too sensitive for u to also put up lik other typical Nigerian bloggers. Kindly respect d families n stay outta dis. This is an advice and not a comment
