Nine bodies have been cleared for collection from the Lekan Ogunsola Memorial Mortuary, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LASUTH), Ikeja. Speaking to Daily Sun, a source at LASUTH said three of the bodies had already been claimed by family members. However, the source declined to list the names of the collected bodies. It stated that more bodies were not likely to be cleared for collection until further notice.
This was gathered just before a top management meeting of the hospital authorities began yesterday afternoon, to chart the way forward in the handling of the crisis following the Dana air crash. Meanwhile, victims’ families seem to have lost patience with everybody, as they are becoming more hostile to government officials and other stakeholders.
