Capt. Sambo (junior brother to Vice President Sambo) died yesterday in a ghastly car accident on Bill Clinton Drive. His car collided with a tree and bust in flames.
He was on his way to the airport to embark on a flight.
According to a statement released by the VP's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Capt Sambo, until his death, was a pilot who worked with the former Nigerian Airways & the Presidential Air Fleet, before he retired to be on his own.
He is survived by a wife, three daughters, 10 brothers and sisters. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
