The candlelight procession to honour murdered Nigerian singer,
Damilola Ibrahim Olaniyan, better known as Damino Damoche, was held on
Saturday night in Lagos.
Damoche was murdered by suspected cultists on Thursday evening at the Lagos State University, LASU, main gate in Ojo.
It was reliably gathered from witnesses that colleagues of late
Damoche in the music industry shunned the event as most of them didn’t
show up.
One of the participants said, “I hate Nigeria music industry. We
expected some of his friends in the industry to come around but no one
showed up. I am an entertainer and not an artiste, but we need to show
love and last respect for the dead.”
The candlelight procession took place at late Damoche’s parents’
house located at Ile-Pako area of Agege, Lagos.
