The gold rings were specially designed with diamonds and sapphires.

Every player’s name and squad number was also inscribed, along with the date they defeated Bayern Munich and the score.

According to Drogba: “I am very proud of what the club achieved that night and wanted to give something to the team so we can all look back and remember that moment.”

Terry responded: “You’re my hero and everyone at Chelsea loves you.”

Shanghai Shenhua’s Drogba is training with Chelsea ahead of Ivory Coast’s African Nations Cup campaign.

Torres may have stayed away as it was his son’s second birthday yesterday.

Juan Mata and Petr Cech also did not attend.

  10. I blame the fans. they keep coming to staduims, buying ticket and club marchandise. imagine, greece clubs played in the champions league and their league still running despite the country economic problem. nou camp and bernebua is always full to capacity and yet spain are looking for bailout. humans too like football

  12. The people of ivory coast could have made better use of that money after the devastation caused there by NATO, the french colonialists and their african puppets.

  13. @ Anonymous8 December 2012 05:14,

keeep your rotten mouth shut because it smells. Drogba have done more great things to his country than any of your presidents or spiritual leaders in your God forsaken country.

2007 he signed a 3 million pounds contract with Nike and he gave out the whole money to build a state of the earth hospital in his country and employing the best of the best team of doctors for different ailments.

After the crisis in his country, he was nominated the ambassador for peace in his country. He is more respected in his country than any of your spiritual leaders. If you have nothing to do, go and hug the transformer

  14. I'm not the kind of guy who tell people what to so with their money because I am not a financial adviser. Buttttt this is a total waste especially coming from a dude from his country if you know what I mean. Don't quote me if you don't
