 With the current trend in the Nigerian entertainment scene, it seems that if you do not have a house in Lekki, an upscale area of Lagos State, you are not yet part of the big league. Searchlight on some artistes who just acquired houses worth millions of naira in Lekki.

Davido

Although he is also referred to as Omo Baba Olowo (son of a rich man), buying a house worth N140m sure earns him the name olowo (rich man). At age 20, the music star acquired a property in Lekki Phase1said to be worth N140m. The house is close to where his father also has a house in Lekki. Much of his income comes from his music and endorsements. He is currently a brand ambassador for MTN.

Chika Ike

Just some days back, the fair-skinned actress moved into her new home in Lekki. It was learnt that the house has a swimming pool, gym, private office, carport, garden, massive walk in closet and state of the art interior. It comes as no surprise as the actress, who recently divorced her husband, is one of the highest paid in the industry. She also recently opened a boutique.

Wizkid

He is 23 years old and doing big things. The young man, who came to our consciousness barely three years ago, early this year moved to his new home in Lekki. Shortly after, he staged an appreciation show for his fans at the Afrikan Shrine for free. Few months down the line, he acquired a Porsche Panamera. The young man does not only get money from EME, he also has his label, Star Boy Entertainment, where he has signed some artistes. It is expected that these artistes will bring money home to Wizzy.

Dr. Sid

Just last month, the veterinary doctor-turned musician bought a house in Lekki too. He posted it on his twitter account, adding that “God is good and hard work pays.” The singer recently lost his father, legendary actor, Justus Esiri. He is with Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records and has some singles currently rocking the airwaves. He has launched his own Chocolate Cookie venture known as Indulge.

J Sleek

Music producer, J-Sleek, made popular by 2Face Idibia and few other artistes, acquired a Lekki, Lagos home recently. The talented music beats maker was signed on few months ago by D’Banj after the Kokomaster parted ways with his superstar music producer, Don Jazzy. J-Sleek is said to be working with some music producers in Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label, which D’Banj is reportedly part of.
