Guinness, proud sponsor of the Super Eagles in conjunction with the Lagos state government flagged off the Super Eagles Victory tour. At every point of the journey, the procession met with and was greeted by excited and cheering Fans who expressed appreciation to Guinness for Bringing the Champions of Africa to Lagos and the Trophy to Lagos. 

The tour continued till the Teslim Balogun stadium where the Eagles were hosted to a concert with some of Nigeria’s best on stage such as Sound Sultan, Terry G, Mr Raw, Tu-face Idibia and Kola Soul, amongst others. 

The Managing Director/Chief Executive of Guinness Nigeria Plc Mr. Seni Adetu at the Stadium announced that the team would be presented a total sum of $50,000 representing the earlier promised $5,000 for each goal scored from the team’s 2^nd match against Zambia. The MD also mentioned that each member of the entire team including the technical crew and staff would receive a year’s supply of Guinness products in varying proportions
