The MTN supported Lagos Fashion Week 2012, was a
success in all ramifications. A vast improvement on last year's edition
in all department. Kudos to the organizers for a job well-done. It's
very obvious that they know what they are doing and what they want and
we are so sure that next year's edition is going to be far better and a
bigger slam-dunk, than this one.
The occasion had the head fashion reporter and editor of the
International Herald Tribune, Suzy Menkes, OBE as a special guest. She
was a fantastic soul and so welcoming. For someone of her caliber, who
has written over 1.7 Million words in the International Herald Tribune,
since 1988 that she's been with them, to be so humble, says so much. She
wasn't the only one from across the ocean who graced the showcase,
there were others like top British Designer of note, Matthew Williamson
who closed the fashion week to very loud ovation and very many others,
so many that we cannot name them all.
