Silverbird Group chairman Ben Murray-Bruce has offered a scholarship to one of the children of Amadi Ogbonnaya, the Vanguard entertainment editor who died on August 29.
It was gathered that Bruce made this announcement during a condolence visit to the family in Lagos.
Amadi’s last son, Ben, 6, was named
after Ben Bruce, an entertainment and business mogul with whom the late
Amadi had a close relationship.
Bruce will sponsor Ben who is currently in Primary school through his secondary school and University education.
We’re told Bruce has also given Amadi’s
first son Jude a laptop which he can use to properly document his
father’s iconic life – in pictures, words and videos. The Silverbird
chairman and the late Entertainment group editor who passed away on
August 29 were very close friends.
