Yesterday (13th April 2016) in the National University Commission, NUC,
Gov Rochas Okorocha received the operating license to a brand new
university, Eastern Palm University, Ogboko in Ideato South, Imo State; a
Private - Public Partnership between the Imo State Government and some
stakeholders.
Imo State is a state known for producing the highest amount of JAMB candidates in Nigeria with few chances to take them owing to the few number of universities in the state.
