Congolese musician Koffi Olomide, was this morning arrested at his home in Kinshasa, on the orders of the country's Attorney-General, adding woes to the singer who was deported from Kenya for kicking a woman. . It was reported that he was taken to court shortly after and charged with the crime.
He was found guilty and sentenced to a year in jail. Olomide’s troubles have extended across Africa after the Agricultural and Commercial Society of Zambia bowed down to public pressure, yesterday, and cancelled his planned shows in Lusaka.
