Just this morning, Linda Ikeji Blog reported that the #SaveMayowa was
scam by her family to collect money from kind-hearted Nigerians.
According to her, Mayowa’s case is beyond treatment as her ovarian
cancer has reached stage 4.
It was also reported that doctors had already told her family she
won’t survive it and had advised them to take her home but her family
instead used her situation to raise money from Nigerians for treatment
abroad.
Her family has however come out to release an official statement
coupled with the emails exchange with the Emory Clinic US where Mayowa
is to be flown to for treatment
