The family of late Sir Michael Otedola, former governor of Lagos
State, who died on Monday, May 5, 2014 and Lagos State government are
not leaving any stone unturned to give him a befitting burial.
The
funeral plans are as follows.
Wednesday, May 28, 2014: Special tribute tagged Day of Tributes will
hold at Onikan Stadium, Onikan, Lagos. The event will start 10am
Thursday, May 29th, 2014: Remains will be taken round his place of
birth with music and dancing before a lying in state at his compound in
his town.
Friday, May 30, 2015: Funeral mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic
Church, Ibowon. Service will commence at 11am.
After the service,
remains would be committed to mother earth at the Catholic Church at
Odoragusin. Entertainment of guests will be held at St. Patrick’s
Grammer School. Erede, Epe, Lagos.
On the bandstand will be King Sunny Ade and Musiliu Haruna Ishola.
