Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) has released a former Chief
Security Officer to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan detained since
Thursday last week.
A family source said that Mr. Obuah was released by his former employers around 10:30 pm yesterday Nigerian time.

Mr. Obuah was presented to the public to douse rumours that he
had died in detention. After declaring that he was “hale and hearty,”,
Mr. Obuah thanked his friends, family and lawyers, before leaving the
press conference.
