A few hours after appearing at an all-night programme of the Redeemed
Christian Church of God in London, David Cameron, the UK prime
minister, headed for a Sikh temple where he offered prayers.
This has led to criticisms in certain quarters that he was “doing God”
ahead of the May 7 UK general election which is being contested by his
Conservative Party and Labour.
