Former Miss UNILAG, Kessiana Salubi
is dead.The ex-beauty queen, who was also the first runner-up for the
Miss Nigeria pageant in 2002, is said to have died in her sleep on
Friday, November 4.
According
to a family source, she came back from an outing, had dinner, had a bath
and went to bed in her Lekki home but didn’t wake up the next day.
She was working as an Architect and Interior Designer before her premature death at the age of 34.
One of her
friends, Temmy said: ‘Not many of you will know her but she was quite
popular many years ago. Her death is shocking to me personally because
we used to be friends when we were both students in UNILAG, though I
hadn’t seen or spoken to her in a while. Kessiana Salubi was a model,
Miss UNILAG 2001, first runner up Miss Nigeria 2002, an Architect and an
Interior Designer’.
She is survived by her parents and siblings.
