A fatal accident happened on the ever-busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on
Saturday morning. In the accident, two Mazda cars collided with a fuel
tanker which immediately caught fire.
The number of casualties in unclear but unofficial reports put the number of at nine.
Officials of the Nigeria Fire Service, Federal Road Safety Corps and
the Police are at scene to maintain order and direct traffic.
The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is one of the busiest highways in the country.
