A Prado Jeep in the convoy of former Head of State, Gen. Muhammadu
Buhari (rtd.) was involved in an accident along Kachia-Kaduna
highway, two days ago.
Reports say the car somersaulted several times while trying to avoid a head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle.
No life was lost in the accident.

Buhari and his entourage which included the Deputy National Chairman
of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Aminu Bello Masari and the
Party’s National Deputy Secretary, Malam Nasiru El-rufai were on their
way back to Kaduna from Kaura Local Government where they had gone to
pay a condolence visit to the Chief of Marwa, Malam Tagwai Sambo over
the recent extremist attacks in his community.
A member of the team, Ibrahim Ibrahim, said how the occupants of the vehicle escaped unhurt was a miracle.
“We were lucky to escape the accident unhurt” Ibrahim stated.
While speaking during his visit to the Chief of Marwa, Buhari said
the APC will address the perennial problems of insecurity in the country
if the Party is voted int power.
According to him, “If Nigerians gave their mandate to APC come 2015
general elections, it will address the prolonged insecurity problem that
has been bedevilling the country.”
During the visit, the delegation donated the sum of N 2 million to
the victims and the money was presented by Buhari to the Chief of Marwa .
In his response, the Chief of Marwa, Sambo thanked them for the visit
and described the incidence as an act of God. He then expressed hope
that similar incidence will never occur again.
