A building under construction at Muri Okunola street in Victoria Island collapsed some hours ago. Several people are believed to be trapped under it. The
building is beside the Eti Osa Local Government building on the street.

Basically, there are two things which might have contributed the building to fall apart. Poor engineering or low quality of construction materials.
