Ice Prince has announced he will be releasing his anticipated second album ‘Fire of Zamani‘, the follow up to his successful debut ‘Everybody Loves Ice Prince‘, on October 28, 2013, two days before his 27th birthday.
After teasing fans, his record label Chocolate City
has unveiled the official cover artwork. Best described as ‘serene’,
the cover shows Ice Prince from the chest up, donning a white shirt,
rocking a pair of see-through eye glasses.
The album according to Choc City will feature a host of cameos including Sunny
Neji, Wale, M.I, Chip, Ruby, Wizkid, French Montana, Jesse Jagz,
Olamide, Sound Sultan, Burna Boy, Yung L, Jeremiah Gyang, Shaydee and Morell with production from Chopstix, Don Jazzy, Sammy Gyang, J Sleek and E Kelly.
Despite the hype, promotion for FOZ
has been very minimal. There have been no over-the-top marketing
campaigns from the label, something we’ve seen with past Chocolate City
records including M.I’s 2008 ‘Talk about it‘, 2010 ‘MI2‘ and Ice Prince’s ‘Everybody Loves Ice Prince‘
