Breaking News- Many People Injured, Woman Tried to Ram the Gates at the White House (Photos)

Officer Down: What appears to be a male police officer is stretchered away from the scene of the shooting at the Capitol in Washington D.C. today
 
An attempt to ram a barricade near the White House today ended with gunfire on Capitol Hill with a female suspect shot following a car chase. Officers were seen swarming the scene with machine guns as hundreds of staffers and tourists fled in terror from the scene in the political heart of Washington D.C. 

The woman has been disarmed and is in custody with reports that a baby was with her in the black car.
