Kate Henshaw launched her long awaited autobiography ‘The World of an Actress: My Story‘on Tuesday at the Agip Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos. ‘The World of an Actress: My Story‘ introduces readers to Kate’ Henshaw’s world, from her childhood to the present days, through pictures.
The talented actress studied Medical Biology from University of Calabar. She has starred in over a 100 movies starting with When the Sun Sets,
which was the movie that shot her to limelight in 1993. She expressed
her gratitude to her colleagues and friends for the huge turn out, and
also to the late Nollywood actor, J.T Tom West for being part of the
people behind her success.
Present at the event were president of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN),
Ibinabo Fiberesima, Monalisa Chinda, Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha, Iretiola
Doyle, Joke Silver, Funmi Fiberesima, Rita Dominic, Funke Akindele,
Segun Arinze, Dakore Egbunson,Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Boma Dauury, Chico and
Joy Ejiro, Susan Peters, Alli- Baba and Julius Agwu. Special guests include Mrs. Bisi Fayemi, First Lady of Ekiti State; Mr. Keith Richards,
Managing Director, Promasidor Nigeria; Ifie Sekibo, Managing
Director/CEO Heritage Bank; as well as representatives from Samsung
Nigeria.
