An okada rider who is said to be a student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) was yesterday killed by a policeman in Ikorodu area of Lagos for disobeying traffic law
Okada men have
been protesting since yesterday evening when the unfortunate incident
happened, and decided to battle the Police. Unfortunately, two more
lives were lost. Chima Onwe, a former staff of Channels Tv, witnessed
the incident.

I Just spoke with a family member of the murdered okada rider. She said Kunle, aka Ifa is 21 and came from FUTA to make small money.

Two police van arrived the scene of the protest and officers were forced to release four seized okadas.

The police officer that allegedly shoot the okada rider has been identified as Aruna Ayodele. He's currently at large.
