The race to the top of the Smartphone leader-board just got more
competitive with the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S4. For end-uses
who have always used the Samsung S III, this is an needed improvement,
but for first time users it can only be described as magic – the Samsung
magic.
The Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2.2 JellyBean and comes with a
five-inch screen and a slightly leaner form compared to its predecessor.
It’s ever so slightly thinner and a whole six grams lighter.
Ordinarily we’d be sceptical about those kinds of losses, but achieving
them when you’ve actually made the phone bigger is pretty spectacular.
Looking at more features of the new machine, the Galaxy S 4 comes
with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors and 1080 x 1920
pixels with 441ppi. Not minding the fact that the product storms the
market in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB configurations, it also has options to
boost its space with an SD card.
For a country like Nigeria with electricity power challenges, the
Samsung Galaxy S 4 Smartphone has a 2600 mAh battery expected to make
usage all through the day a breeze.
You can’t talk about the new phone without mentioning its killer
feature; the Smart Stay eye tracking software feature which can track
your eyes scroll down the page – an improvement on the S III’s ability
to detect that you’re reading something on it.
Another evolutionary feature of the new
Smartphone is the ‘Air Gesture’ which allows you to explore, magnify and
preview content by hovering your finger just above the screen.
According to Gearburn, a technology website, “There
are a couple of fun tools related to the camera — the ability to embed
audio files from photos for instance — but they’re not really part of
the camera hardware.”
You are even allowed to auto-remove unwanted people and objects from your photos… Nice, isn’t it?
With these cool features and capability specially designed for
business and pleasure, the Samsung Galaxy S 4 is guaranteed to be a big
hit among users and potential users alike.
I am not a gadget lover but I must get this Galaxy S4
