The body of the former Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area
and a veteran sports journalist, Deacon Elijah Ayodele Idowu Ositelu
was committed to mother earth at exactly 2:00 p.m Saturday 02 February 2013 at the
Ositelu House (Oluwaseyi Mansion) at Ogere- Remo in Ikenne Local
Government Area of Ogun State, southwest, Nigeria.
Ositelu died on Wednesday 9 January, 2013 few hours after watching
Nigeria Super Eagles in a friendly match against Cape Verde national
team in Faro, Portugal. He was 69 years old.
Ositelu was survived by wives, Prof. Bukky Ositelu and Mrs Aribike
Ositelu and seven children, Morayo Ositelu, Bisayo Muhammed, Obajimi,
Eniola, Bababunmi, Leke and Oyinkansola Ositelu.
May your soul rest in peace. You will foreever be missed by your families and your Television fans.
