Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola demolished house in Makoko area of Lagos, for all you that do not know where Makoko is (Makoko are those houses you see on water when you are on the 3rd mainland bridge). READ FULL STORY HERE. The Baale of the area was killed in the process.
Some days later, the reseidents trooped to the Lagos state secretariat to express their displeasure (READ STORY HERE).
My take is that where does he want the residents to live? Did he provide them with alternative before demolition? Were they notified before demolition?
