Maimuna Anyene died with her four children (Kamsi, 2, twins Kayna and Kayne 1, and Kamal, 7 months),
her husband, mother and other relatives in last Sunday's Dana crash,
while heading to Lagos to attend her younger brother's wedding, which
was scheduled to hold yesterday June 9th. Maimuna lived in the US, and
was in Nigeria with her kids specifically to see her husband who lived
mostly in Nigeria and to attend her brother's wedding. But they all
died in the ill fated flight.
Ndako
Mijindadi, Maimuna's younger brother went ahead with his wedding
despite losing Maimuna and eight other family members in that crash. The
wedding held yesterday at the Incubator, Victoria Island.
Ndako
is now being heavily criticized for going ahead with the wedding,
especially considering the dead are yet to be buried. Was he wrong to go
ahead with it?

ReplyDeleteI think dat he is a very heartless man to have gone ahead with the wedding inspite of all dat befell him jt last week!even if it was just to honour his last family who tried against all odds to make his day. i wont be suprised if dis guy is already gathering all d deceased properties for himself! he is a son of the gun period! i feel sorry for the so called new bride too, she jt married a monster.

DeleteSincerely speaking, i would not blame him for going on with the wedding. The date has been set before the unfortunate thing happened. I also learnt over the weekend that wedding are never postponed unless one of the couple passes away.

ReplyDeletealso now is the time the family needs a bit of happiness, dey hav lost 8 ppl in a plane crash n gained 1 through the wedding. now more than ever he needs his wife by his side to console him.
d date was set well b4 d crash, also things lik venue n catering n co hav al been paid 4.d ppl dat died were comin 4 a weddin n i think its only proper d wedding take place 2 honor their deaths even, if the wedding wasnt impt they wld hav neva been on dat plane in the 1st place.
